Book Cover
Voices of the Forest, the English translation of 'Aranyara Swara', is an spellbinding depiction of nature as seen by tribal communities of Odisha like the Gadaba, Paroja, Bonda and Didayi. The Tiger, Chicken, Boar, Chameleon and Porcupine each have their own tale as do the Monkey, Iguana, Ghost and Hermit.
Enthralled by this imaginary world, the cover of Voices of the Forest was designed to represent this enchanted place, hidden amongst foliage where even the porcupine’s quills (with a little UV magic) could shimmer like the golden sun.
